I am different things to different people.

 

I’m a wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, business owner, strategic partner, public speaker, sarcastic realist, shopping enthusiast, travel lover, avid snacker, and eternal optimist. Did I miss fitness? Yes, it appears as though I did. Moving on.

I don’t pretend to have it all figured out. Life is a journey of balancing ambition and exhaustion, confidence and self-doubt, discipline and dessert. I believe you can be driven and tired, grateful and wanting more, successful and still figuring things out.

I also believe life isn’t meant to be taken too seriously. I laugh at everything and have commonly been deemed “the friend you can’t sit next to at a funeral.”

I grew up in West Michigan and chased warm weather and sunshine down to South Florida shortly after graduating from college. I live in a cozy little suburb of Fort Lauderdale with my husband, two children, and little dog. (The white picket fence is not permitted by the neighborhood association.)

I started this blog as a space to share relatable experiences, travel adventures, some of my favorite things, and plenty of laughs.
